Third-placed Boys' Town ended their National Premier League season on a winning note by beating Waterhouse 4-2 in their closing fixture at the Collie Smith Sports Complex yesterday.
Goals from Denzil Watson (23rd), Garfield Gillespie (65th), George Vernal (65th) put the host 3-0 up.
But Weston Forest (84th ) and Newton Sterling (85th) cut the deficit to one, before Renae Lloyd added an insurance goal for the home team a minute from time.
After wasting a number of other good scoring chances, Gillespie got Boys' Town's second when he latched on to a pass from Vernal and hammered a shot past the Waterhouse's Cousin.
Five minutes later, Vernal made it 3-0 with a ferocious free-kick from 30 yards that went over the wall and dipped just under the bar.
However, Waterhouse showed the best spell of the game in the last ten minutes of play and Forest hit the bar with a shot from inside the area.
Then Sterling had a shot blocked by Philmore Crumbie from 12 yards.
With six minutes remaining, Forest pulled a goal back when he volleyed home a cross from the penalty spot. A minute later, Sterling beat Crumbie with a header at the near-post as Waterhouse came within a goal of earning a point.
