The Jamaica Badminton Association (JBA) has called 45 players to the Pan American Junior Badminton Association squad.

Training will take place on Saturdays and Sundays at the G C Foster College, Spanish Town under the guidance of national junior coach Howard Ranger.

The Pan American Junior Badminton Championship gets under way in Guatemala from July 15 to 20 with competition in team and individual events.

Coach Ranger will split the training session into three groups. Team training will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, while one batch (Group 1) will slot into the 10:00 am to 1:00 pm period and another batch (Group 2) will train from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.

The JBA says that players "will be evaluated on an ongoing basis" and "there may be additions and/or reductions of participants.
