Mullings wins both sprints in Italy

Shericka Williams blasts 400m field

SPRINTER Steve Mullings continued his impressive form to win the sprint double at Terra Sarda athletics meeting in Italy today.

He won the 100 metres in 9.93 seconds.

Mullings later returned to complete the double by winning the 200m in 20.22 seconds.

Shericka Williams easily won the women’s 400 metres in 51.06.

Female sprinter Sherone Simpson, placed second in the women’s 100 metres behind American Alexandria Anderson.
