Saturday, November 07, 2009

THE Ministry of Labour and Social Security has scheduled a representational rights poll for Monday at the all-inclusive Club Hotel RIU, Bloody Bay, Negril, part of the RIU chain.

The poll will be held between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm and will involve some 245 eligible employees, including housekeepers, housemen, bartenders, engineers, waiters, pool attendants, lifeguards, supervisors, dishwashers and all other line staff at the hotel.

"The ministry is urging all eligible workers to turn out for this poll and participate in this important decision-making event," the ministry said yesterday.
