Another lawyer pulls out of representing accused child killer

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

ALLEGED child killer Jeffery Perry, who is charged with the throat-slashing murders of his three young cousins in St Mary, is set to return to court next month.

An April 11 return date was set when Perry appeared in the Home Circuit Court on Friday. The court was told that the recommendation for a new psychiatric evaluation was not yet carried out.

Perry, whose lawyer recently withdrew from his case, is also to seek legal representation. His attorney Robert Fletcher is the second lawyer to pull out of the matter for want of proper instruction.

Perry is charged with the January 28, 2005 home invasion murders of Shadice Williams, 4, Dwayne Davidson, 15, and Suann Gordon, 13, who were killed while their mother was at night church service.
