DISGRACED church deacon Donovan Jones, 47, and his teenage co-accused, who are facing human trafficking charges in the Home Circuit Court, will have to wait another month to find out when they will be tried.

When the four appeared in court last Friday, a trial date could not be set as the file on the matter was yet to be completed.
The Crown then asked for an April 20 mention date, by which time the file would have been completed.
The others charged along with Jones on five counts of human trafficking are James Rogers, 18; Shamar Morgan, 18; and a juvenile.

The accused were originally slapped with sexual assault charges earlier last year, based on allegations that Jones, who was hired to transport a 13-year-old girl from school, supervised her assault by the young men over a period of weeks between April and May 2005.

However, those charges were dropped and replaced by the current charges when the case was transferred from the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate's Court to Circuit in September 2006.
Rogers is alleged to have videotaped the sexual assaults, which took place in Jones' vehicle.
All the accused are on bail.
