ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Scores of People’s National Party (PNP) supporters from St Elizabeth are now gathered at the party’s Old Hope Road, St Andrew, headquarters where they plan to stage a protest.

Those gathered say they are at the location to protest against the recent decision by the ruling party to replace Member of Parliament Raymond Pryce as the standard-bearer for St Elizabeth North Eastern (NE) in the next general election.
“We want back Raymond Pryce, no Redman,” one member of the group of more than 60 people chanted.
The decision was taken recently to have Santa Cruz businessman Evon Redman represent the PNP in the next general election, instead of Pryce.
