New report on cyber security to be released Monday
WASHINGTON, United State (CMC) — The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) says it will launch the cyber security Report 2016: Are We Ready in Latin America and the Caribbean next week.
It said the report will be launched in collaboration with the Organization of American States (OAS) on March 14.
The report, produced by the IDB and the OAS with the support of the University of Oxford, analyzes the state of preparation of 32 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, based on 49 indicators.
“It is the first in-depth examination of the level of preparation of Latin America and the Caribbean faced with the growing threat of cybercrime,” the IDB/OAS said in a statement.
OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro, and IDB president, Luis Alberto Moreno will address the ceremony where the report will be released.
