Cop stabbed in neck while quelling dispute
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A policeman is currently in hospital after he was stabbed in the neck while on duty in Admiral Town, Kingston this morning.
Reports are that some time after 1:00 am the inspector of police was attempting to quell a dispute at an address in the area when he was stabbed by a 17-year-old male.
He was taken to hospital where he is being treated.
The police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) was unable to provide further details on the incident.
However OBSERVER ONLINE was told that the attacker was taken into custody.
