Body found floating at Kingston waterfront
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have reported that the body of a man was yesterday found afloat in the sea along the water front in downtown Kingston.
The lawmen said it is of dark complexion, medium build and is about 172 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) long and appears to be in its late thirties. It was clad in burgundy underwear.
Reports from the Denham Town Police are that about 12:30 pm, police officers were on patrol in the vicinity of Ocean Boulevard, Kingston when they noticed the body floating in the waters on its back.
It was fished from the water, the scene processed and the body removed to the morgue for post mortem.
The Denham Town Police are asking anyone with information who can assist them in identifying this body to contact them at 948-6443, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
