The beautiful 19th century diamond tiara loaned to the bride by Lady Colin Campbell.

Who would have thunk it? Another tiara and so soon. Lady Colin Campbell, accompanied by her sons, Dema and Misha, transported to Jamaica from Europe her beautiful 19th century diamond tiara - all for the nuptials of Rebecca Ann Brandt to Matthew Barker on Saturday, May 27 at Prospect Chapel with a reception at Laughing Water, St Ann. The bride wore Monique Lhuillier (she did Britney's gown) and paired the tiara with vintage smoky topaz drop earrings, a five strand pearl, square citrine and diamond necklace and a matching smokey topaz brooch which secured the bride's satin sash.

Mirah Lim seems all set to tie the knot in September.

If your favourite Indian gem dealer is missing it's because they've gone (at least those in the know) to Vegas in search of more bling to mad us all for the rest of the year.
And if you detect panic in the voice of many it's because the wealthy industrialist is planning a three-day birthday celebration in Portland. Why the panic? Preparations must include just the right the threads, heels and stones for the three days. It's called Same Way So!

And since there's never a dull moment in the city the latest buzz is will the real father please stand up. Until then.

And no silly that loud crash of falling cement was certainly not an exit but rather.yet another curtain call. The cat has nine lives.

A Bientot!
PS Russell Peters was a definite hit at the limited VIP seating at the Ritz Carlton however, it left some from Kingston so hot under the collar that they bagged a VIP seat and refused to leave. Fact is if the function is at the Ritz then all tickets should have been US$100 and all afforded the luxe deal.

PPS Folks are still in shock.Last year's tickets and a cacophony of abuse. Let's see now, could that be fraud and verbal assault? Let's hope it's not a case of having friends in high places.
