Pension Fund Administrator


A top pension fund management company requires the services of a talented and capable Pension Fund Administrator who is looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.


The candidate must be a person who demonstrates the following:



  • A high level of integrity

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Leadership qualities

  • Analytical and organizational skills

  • Good level of numeracy an IT literacy

  • Ability to manage time and work effectively on their own initiative

  • Excellent language skills both written and oral


The Administrator will be overseeing day-to-day administration of pension funds to ensure that the funds operate effectively and meet performance, quality and customer care targets as well as complying with best practices where possible.  Other tasks include:



  • Developing pensions policy

  • Reporting to trustee, members of funds and advising on efficient management of fund’s assets

  • Meeting with actuaries, lawyers and other consultants

  • Developing information resources, such as leaflets etc

  • Preparing relevant paperwork for trustees Meetings

  • Supervising a team of Administrators

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance

  • Monitoring legislative changes as it relates to pension funds


 


Qualifications:


At least five (5) years experience in the field

Bachelors Degree Actuarial Science or equivalent
