Hilton Kingston hosts second KIDS Charity Telethon

The Hilton Kingston's second annual KIDS Charity Telethon took place on Sunday, under the theme "Hear the KIDS, Heal the KIDS".

The telethon was broadcast live from the hotel's Grande Independence Ballroom. Proceeds will be donated to local children's organisation.

The KIDS - Kindness in Donations and Services - Charity programme is an initiative dedicated to helping children on the islands where Hilton Caribbean resorts are located. The main focus of the programme is to raise funds for early childhood education for children ages three to six. Since 2001, the Hilton Kingston has hosted a number of fundraising initiatives, including an annual golf tournament, cultural and food festival, a KIDS comedy showcase, art exhibition, and has managed to raise $43 milion since its inception.
