Israel - chosen people of God?

Dear Editor,
After careful analysis of the Middle East situation, including the reactions from various world powers, the following questions come to mind.
1 Would peace come to the Middle East if the USA were to relocate Israel within the US borders, giving them, say, one or two large states as their new nation of Israel? Apparently, the biggest problem in the Middle East is that Israel, which was carved out by the USA and Britain in the middle of Palestinian land, wants to obliterate the Palestinians, much like the USA did to the Native Americans, and steal all of Palestine.
2 Isn't it about time that God-fearing Christians wake up and cast off the false teaching that this modern terrorist nation called Israel is the "chosen people of God"? God is omnipotent and will re-establish his true people in their homeland in due time.
3 Isn't it pathetic the way the Bush administration talks out of both sides of its mouth and endorses the murder of Palestinians and Lebanese by Israel while condemning the retaliations by Hamas and Hezbollah? When Israel kidnaps and imprisons Arabs/Muslims, those people must just grin and bear it, according to Bush and company, but if those people retaliate by capturing murderous Israelis, then Israel has the right to go on a bigger murdering spree!
4 Finally, when will the US-Israel axis of demonism learn that the days are done when oppressed peoples will sit back and "suck up" to their oppressors? Israel, which is just a US pawn, should heed the words of Frantz Fanon, because that country "now lives at such a mad, reckless pace that she has shaken off all guidance and all reason, and she is running headlong into the abyss".
