Miss Thing makes comeback
YEARS after her selfimposed break, female dancehall artiste Ms Thing is ready to resume her music career.
“Yeah u dun kno, I’m back in the studio doing crazy recordings and putting in a lot of work”, Miss Thing told the Jamaica Observer.
“Being away from the music business gave me time to reflect on life and what I really wanted out of it. Right now, a music mi say straight,” she said.
According to Miss Thing — whose real name is Natesha Lindsay — seeing other female artistes currently doing well has helped propelled her to make a comeback as she believes she has the whole package.
“Yeah man, the female artiste dem a represent, suh Miss Thing a come represent also and it’s looking good so far,” she said.
The 26-year-old currently has two new singles, Dem A Nuh Body (Capital Edge Riddim) which is produced by Psycho Tanbad World Blast Music; and Bounce an Study featuring Flexx (Mattrass Riddim) which is produced by Buju Banton’s son Marcus Myrie. A video will be shot next Friday for the single Dem A Nuh Body.
Miss Thing first tasted international success with the popular single Dude which featured Beenie Man in 2004. The following year, she released her album Miss Jamaica for Sequence/VP Records.
